Chinook Optical has just welcomed the fourth generation of eyecare professionals to the company, which was started by Dr. E.S. Tharp with Consolidated Optical in 1916. His son, Dr. B.J.S. Tharp, founded Chinook Optical in 1960 and now the next two generations are continuing the business.
As an independent business, Chinook Optical can obtain a very large variety of lenses and frames. All of our staff are qualified Opticians or students of Opticianry and are able to deal with difficult prescriptions and unusual situations.
