Step inside and you’re in a restaurant on a side street in Paris, all dark wood and pale yellow walls, mirrors, flocked red velvet banquettes and cafe tables wearing striped runners.
The lights are low, and there’s French music playing but you don’t have to scream over it to talk to your dining companions. It’s très romantique, in an unpretentious, old-school way.
Owner and chef Nabila Guelli’s father, Mohamed, designed Ratatouille. (Guelli was the original owner of Fleur de Sel and the late, greatly missed Jo Jo Bistro).
